Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of Marc Barron's buildings reveal chronic issues with maintenance and cleanliness, including persistent pest infestations, mold, leaks, and faulty heating systems. Tenants frequently criticize the management for slow and inadequate responses to repair requests and lack of proactive upkeep. Garbage management and common area cleanliness are often subpar, contributing to an overall decline in living conditions. Though apartments tend to be spacious and located in decent neighborhoods with friendly neighbors, many renters express frustration with security and noise problems. While some tenants appreciate affordable rent stabilization, the general sentiment suggests management struggles with tenant communication and comprehensive building care.

7 years of Hell

Pros

Close to the train

Cons

Since I’ve live here I have an 7 -10 water leak destroy the ceiling in the kitchen, and bathroom and mold. I have lost food and some appliances no reimbursement. The door to the building is broken every six months. I’ve had so many packages stolen. The radiator in the winter makes so much noise it's loud sound that startles and wakes me up in the middle of the night .The hot water world sometimes I’ve to run the water for 45 min to an hour which results in me getting dress at the gym, so I can make it on time to work. Sometime there random people hanging in the lobby. It’s a rent stabilized building but should be free!

Advice to the owners

Have some integrity! Stop being so greedy. That’s what wrong with the world today. And hire people with class and the ability to communicate.
