Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants of buildings managed by David Natanov often praise the friendly neighbors and occasionally responsive supers. Some properties feature renovated apartments and convenient amenities like in-unit laundry. However, common drawbacks include poor cleanliness, frequent pest infestations (cockroaches, mice), and inconsistent garbage management. Heating and water pressure issues are reported, and noise levels vary widely across buildings. Many renters criticize management for slow or insufficient responsiveness to maintenance and pest control concerns. While some buildings feel safe and quiet, others struggle with maintenance neglect and unaddressed nuisances, indicating variability in management quality and the need for more proactive building upkeep.

Overall Pretty Great

Pros

The super is lovely and generally pretty responsive and helpful when any issues came up. Very quiet building, very nice neighbors, many families that have lived here for many years.

Cons

we had some problems with mice and roaches but they were dealt with pretty quickly and the exterminator came every month. In the two years I lived here, there were a few times where there was an issue with the boiler (no hot water, one time for several days). The apartment itself was quite nice and cleanly but the stairs, lobby, and common areas were almost never cleaned. I saw the stairs being mopped one time in my 2 years living here.

Management is HORRIBLE

Pros

Added cameras and a key fob

Cons

Do not regularly clean building, Super doesn't respond promptly takes long to fix issues in the apartment, heat in the building is horrible, doesn't display the super's information in the lobby has an old's super information up there

Advice to the owners

Hire another super and be more attentive to the building, we are located in a beautiful area of manhattan and have to deal with the building not being regularly cleaned or upkept
