Terrible Building and Management

Pros

Newly renovated unit

Cons

Renovation was poorly done and corners were cut. As a result, we had little to no water pressure 50% of the time, hot water would randomly go out, uncontrolled roach infestation because they cancelled extermination services, and the building itself would literally fall apart. Our kitchen sink fully fell out of its socket and was not fixed for over two weeks. A huge leak in the roof flooded the staircases and when the super was contacted, he said he already knew about the issue and would fix it next week. Terrible package theft to the point where I couldn’t order things for delivery without knowing I would probably never get it. Our unit is easily the nicest and most newly renovated one in this building and we’re still counting down the days before we can leave.

Advice to the owners

Don’t cut corners on renovation and hire supers that are responsive and attentive to building issues. Turn on and monitor the cameras in the lobby to check for package theft. Do not skip a single month of extermination services. Fix the water pressure so that when my neighbor showers I can also be able to shower.
