Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for Leonard Fox's buildings reveals significant management challenges. While locations are often praised for convenience and neighbors are generally decent, issues like persistent pest infestations, cleanliness problems, and frequent maintenance delays are common. Heating is frequently faulty, and noise insulation is poor. Garbage management varies but is sometimes well maintained. A recurrent complaint is the owner's poor responsiveness to repair requests and tenant concerns, leading to tenant dissatisfaction. Some buildings feel outdated and require modernization. Overall, renters caution prospective tenants about management's lack of attentiveness and stress improvements in upkeep, pest control, and communication are urgently needed.

Bad landlord to deal with

Pros

Heat, spacious, no issues with pest

Cons

Not clean when moved in, needs repairs and better upkeep

Faulty, Old Building that Needs New Management

Pros

Location is great

Cons

Management is all but non-responsive on issues such as heat, pests (including bed bugs) and plumbing. You would think that a building that's over 100 years old would be managed by someone who knows what they're doing but Cornerstone Management is beyond a disappointment.
