Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by Mark Kalimian indicate generally well-maintained properties with clean common areas, efficient garbage management, and responsive superintendents, particularly George. The buildings attract a young, lively demographic and offer convenient access to local amenities. However, persistent issues include insufficient heating/AC in some units, package theft, thin walls causing noise disturbances, and occasional pest problems. Management's responsiveness varies, with some tenants praising timely communication while others report delays and safety concerns being unaddressed. Security could be improved, especially package handling and building access. Overall, expect a modern, centrally located property with dedicated staff but some trade-offs in comfort and security.

Reviews

Good place to live but expensive

Pros

Great elevators, laundry machines, and trash management

Cons

Central air doesn’t reach some rooms and it gets so hot in the summer. Windows don’t support a window unit

abington is an issue, building staff are great

Pros

responsive super, clean hallways/common space

Cons

relisting my studio turned 2 br (they flexed it) at 4600 which is highway robbery. had a package thief, no WiFi for a few months while construction was ongoing, inadequate heat in winter due to the flex situation, and a few bugs (though those were quickly addressed) abington has a "you get what you get" attitude.
