Great location, negligent management, neighbors who steal
Pros
The building itself is in a great location and the tenants who have been here for a long time are great. There have been new tenants coming in and out over the last few years which has created its own set of problems.
Cons
New management took over in 2024 and are negligent and non communicative when it comes to addressing issues on their end. They insist that basic repairs are not their responsibility. However, if the rent is even a day late, expect late fees, phone calls, constant text messages and emails. We've had weeks during the winter without heat. There's a broken fridge on the 5th floor they refuse to have taken downstairs, saying it's the super's responsibility. The super is an elderly man, no taller than 5ft 3in. What's more troublesome is that, over the last two years, a neighbor has been stealing the other neighbors packages. There are no cameras in the building and Arya (current management company) refuses to put cameras in no matter how many people complain.
Advice to the owners
Put in cameras, leave Arya management, treat your tenants better.
Not luxurious but cozy

Cozy, quiet, really no complaints with the unit itself. Not luxurious and definitely dated, but more than adequate
