Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of buildings managed by Ahron Freidus reveal a mixed experience. Tenants commend the superb responsiveness and helpfulness of on-site supers like Gery, reflecting positively on day-to-day issue resolution. The locations, especially in vibrant neighborhoods, are praised for convenience and community. However, there are recurring concerns about pest control, with reports of bugs and rodents particularly in summer, and inconsistent garbage management leading to unsightly conditions. Some residents feel building management responsiveness beyond supers could improve. Noise and neighbor relations tend to be good, but external factors like nearby street activity impact the environment. Expect engaged supers but room for enhanced overall building management.

Pros

Amazing neighbourhood to be in

Cons

There were plenty of bugs in the summer

Gery is an A+ Super, Building is Not

Pros

The super (Gery) is awesome. Only had a few minor problems and he has fixed them. Responsive and nice. The building itself doesn’t have many pros. You will never hear from the owners or know who they are.

Cons

Have seen mice and cockroaches in the building. It’s not a rampant problem but it’s the reality of living in an old east village walk up above a restaurant. The worst part about this building is that you will have homeless people next to the entrance all the time because of the theatre next door. Especially in the summer when the crusties descend
