Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews of buildings managed by Joseph Pierce reflect a mix of experiences. Residents praise the attentive, friendly doormen and staff, as well as generally clean halls, prompt maintenance, and great views. The building has pet-friendly units, good security, and convenient access to transit. However, persistent issues are noted with pest control, frequent elevator breakdowns, noise from nearby traffic and construction, and occasional management unresponsiveness or slow communication. Some renters express frustration with rental increases and maintenance delays. Overall, prospective tenants should expect a well-located property with good staff service but remain mindful of ongoing building maintenance challenges and noisy surroundings.

Wife & Husband w/ varied opinions

Pros

- unbelievable, unbeatable views -friendly doorman - Pet friendly - in a higher up unit, pretty quiet

Cons

-Occasional pest problems (eventually did get resolved) - near Times Square and Lincoln Tunnel so very busy -LOTS of construction and poor communication from higher ups (not the people who work in the building)

Advice to the owners

I have had an AMAZNG experience living here, and feel thankful everyday as I look out at the view. There are also advantages to be in the middle when it comes to easily getting to other areas of NYC. My husband feels the opposite because of how busy the area is, having to deal with the construction noise for 2 years. This is how most people in the building feel either LOVE it or over the area. You'll need to reflect which camp you think you'd be in.

Pros

The people working here are amazing. The building is very well maintained and clean.

Cons

Sometimes the responsiveness of the management was a little delayed.
