Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback on ISUF CEKOVIC’s buildings points to significant management challenges. While locations and doorman friendliness are praised, persistent pest infestations—especially roaches and rats—and frequent elevator outages severely hamper living conditions. Maintenance requests are often met with slow or non-responsive management, compounded by understaffing and inadequate upkeep of common spaces like laundry rooms and courtyards. Some tenants report tension due to attempts to displace rent-stabilized residents, adding to dissatisfaction. A few reviews note friendly staff and solid basics, yet overall, renters should expect ongoing maintenance issues and limited responsiveness from management.

Pest issues, non-existent super,

Pros

Good location close to the B/C train at 96th and several grocery stores (Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, KeyFoods) Front desk staff is generally friendly

Cons

Roaches. I've had to report roaches on at least 15 occasions and I have lived in the building less than a year. Elevator(s) frequently out. This is a 34-floor building, and at least one of the elevators is consistently out, resulting in long (5 min+) wait times. Super is impossible to reach. Have an issue? Forget about it. You will not get a response. The building also has a handyman who will sometimes attempt to be helpful, but he is not going to help with anything that requires more than minimal effort.

Not worth it

Pros

The location is great The doormen are very nice There is a garage underneath the building

Cons

Huge huge HUGE roach and water bug issues. I’m talking triple digits within eyesight people. The building is dirty There is very bad water pressure

Advice to the owners

Get rid of your roaches and buy a new mop
