Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Reviews for George Fitzgerald's buildings reveal generally well-maintained and clean properties with attentive and responsive management. Tenants appreciate quiet, friendly neighbors and convenient locations with easy access to local amenities. The live-in superintendents are praised for their promptness and helpfulness. However, issues include occasional pest infestations, inconsistent maintenance quality, and noise from surrounding streets or trash management. Some units show signs of needed repairs, such as uneven floors or aging facilities. Overall, renters find the management proactive but recommend addressing pest control more thoroughly and improving building repairs to enhance tenant satisfaction.

Great building and great location in Park Slope

Pros

Apartment is on a quiet street but still close to all the bars/restaurants on 5th and 7th. Lovely building with live in super that is always on top of things. Great place to live.

Cons

The only cons are that the walls are thin, so you constantly hear your neighbors. Also lived in the back of the building, so I always hear the trash maintenance (breaking bottles, sorting through trash, etc)

Nice apt, fantastic location, but ROACHES

Pros

Responsive super, great location

Cons

Not the nicest cabinets, floors, etc. nor have they been installed perfectly. Floors are also quite uneven. My biggest issue has been trying to keep a bug infestation at bay. The super has been very responsive in helping combat but he is not a professional and does not follow professional exterminator protocols to the infestation is never fully resolved (now going on 2 years).

Advice to the owners

Deal with the building-wide roach infestation ASAP
