Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Farhad Bokhour reveals a mixed experience. Several renters commend prompt landlord responsiveness, clean and well-maintained common areas, and good heating, especially in newer or renovated buildings. However, complaints about pest control issues, package theft, noise disturbances, and challenging move-out processes are notable. Some tenants report difficulty reaching management and concerns over security and rent increases. While management handles repairs and upgrades quickly when addressed, expectations on tenants for move-out painting and cleaning have caused friction. Prospective renters should prepare for occasional nuisances but can expect generally attentive management in well-located properties.

Reviews

Former tenant·4 minutes ago

Not a bad building and neighbors, just one bad tenant

Pros

Fairly quiet neighborhood and neighbors on lower floors (2025), but overall definitely a younger crowd that lives in building so Fri & Sat night be prepared to hear them. Building is well maintained enough

Cons

2025 specific, new building construction adjacent Can hear through door very easily Noticed comments regarding landlord and building management which I can’t really say too much didn’t really interact too much with them. Specific issue to one apt/tenant on second floor who is renting his rent stabilized apt and overcharging, beware.

Advice to the owners

Kick out tenant in 2nd floor, you know which one

Former tenant·11 months ago

Nice location, killer walk-up

Pros

Great area, good natural sunlight.

Cons

Can be noisy
