Pros
-location! Nearby 2/3 and B/C trains -high ceilings -adequate laundry room (4 washers 4 dryers) -pet friendly! Thankfully i dont live by the dogs who bark every time they hear someone pass by outside the door -one of the tenants always hangs out at the intersection in front of the building and always plays music, greets everyone with a smile and occasionally starts a conversation! He will brighten up your day, he’s everyones best friend! -good water pressure -area is relatively safe. There’s a school next door
Cons
-whole building is dark, run down, and dirty. Occasionally see dog poop on the hallway floor by my unit and sometimes itll be there for a few days -theres only 1 super and he ONLY speaks spanish. He’s very nice and always greets tenants with a smile. im able to get by with the little spanish i know, but i see a lot of non-spanish speaking tenants that are unable to communicate their concerns due to the language barrier. How will their issues get fixed? -mail “room” is out in the open right by the entrance. Ive gotten my package stolen once, but i could see how easy it is for people to just quickly snag something and go - walls are pretty paper thin. My upstairs neighbor likes to drop heavy things throughout all times of the day and night -the one elevator is super slow -

- Landlord - Everything is very outdated and falling apart, leaks are very common but no urgent response to that - Sometimes no hot water during winter
