Roaches, Rats, and Feces

Pros

It is very warm in the winter with the heating in the building from the steam pipes. Neighbors are nice are community is warm.

Cons

Sidewalk and inner courtyards of the building is always covered in dog poop, can smell it inside and outside during the summer especially. Cockroaches live all over inside the building walls and are in the trash as well all the time. The basement is unclean. Rats are also in the basement. Unhelpful building ownership and deceptive marketing.

Advice to the owners

Fix the building and multiple violations.

Good first apartment, but not well kept

Good bones to the building, nice neighbors, spacious unit, good finishes

Cons

No help with pest control over the years - had mice and roaches by the time we left
