Good place to live but insane rent increases

Pros

Family friendly. Most of the building staff are great. Small gym + playroom in lobby, though you do have to pay for them.

Cons

Water not included. Monthly pet fee. Insane rent increases. Year 1 my rent went up $200. Year 2 my rent went up $530/year. 11% increase. That's insane. Elevators break pretty much every other week. We had a 3.5 week span with 1 elevator for 22 floors. Even when the elevators do work, they're terrible.

Advice to the owners

Actual rent negotiations would be nice and having some human decency.
