Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by Angela Gazivoda express serious dissatisfaction with management. Common issues include poor cleanliness, inadequate garbage disposal, persistent pest infestations, especially rats, and unreliable heating and hot water. Residents describe negligent maintenance practices with slow or ineffective repairs and an unresponsive or rude management team. Security concerns arise due to disruptive neighbors and loitering, with some citing drug use in common areas. Although occasional positives like elevator availability and proximity to transit are noted, tenants overwhelmingly advise better oversight, quicker issue resolution, and improved pest control to enhance living conditions. Overall, management responsiveness and building upkeep are major concerns.

STAY AWAY from this building

Pros

In my honest opinion, there isn’t none & even if there was at least one pro it still doesn’t outweigh the many cons that this place has.

Cons

Moving in individuals (clients from these assistance programs) who later on become a big problem Inconsistency with the heat & hot water especially during most days in the winter (they have the ability to mess with the temp. remotely) Basement is a pigsty on most days & it has huge hole in the ceiling & lots of water is coming down & they still haven’t fixed it When an individual from these programs are harassing other tenants in a disgusting manner & living in squalor, landlord will make no effort in evicting that individual. Pest control that never comes & not like he was doing his job anyways. Certain things need to be fixed & they won’t fix things unless told by court & these are things like mold &/or pests. Hardly clean the building. Building energy is rated F Loitering from people who don’t belong whether they’re blocking the entrance of the building or blocking the staircase. Awning that have our building’s number has not been changed or fixed for a decade plus & plenty more…..

Advice to the owners

When people tell you that things need to be fixed, don’t ignore them, rectify the problem & be done with it. Don’t prolong it to the point where matters have to be taken to court & the court has to make you. You guys don’t deserve to be in the business nor the positions that you have. One day I hope something or someone looks into your books & find a lot discrepancies & you get closed down overnight.

Super is Terrible landlord is worse, building is Dirty neighbors are loud !

Pros

None it’s dirty and falling apart. The landlord doesn't not fix anything and the super doesn’t know how to do anything. They never paint or clean and we never have heat or hot water!

Cons

The building doesn’t get cleaned repairs take a long time and when they do it’s not a great job. The neighbors play loud music all the time no matter what day and time. No heat or hot water!

Advice to the owners

Sell to the building you guys bought us in 2019 and the building has been in the worst condition since then.
