Building owners/management couldn't care less

Pros

Lots of light, good value for the neighborhood

Cons

Management ignores everything. Pests, leaks, mold, broken appliances, you name it and they will sweep it under the rug. They will paint over mold and plaster over leaks. Response times are slow, and when they do finally contact you they won't fix the issue.

Bad management, ok deal but old building they don’t care

Pros

Location + my rent is good price + tends to be quiet

Cons

Management doesn’t reply to maintenance requests, apartment is in disrepair and it will be months. Have had roach problem, was nearly impossible to get building to address it. Mold issue not taken care of. Took over a year to get critical repairs done.

Advice to the owners

Address issues, respond to tenant issues by being helpful.
