Good no-frills Midtown apartment
Pros
Very convenient location. I really liked my apartment. My neighbors in building were really nice. Viking Property Management is solid and takes things seriously when you escalate to them. Rent increases were predictable $100-200 each year.
Cons
You're subjected to normal Midtown noise if you have a front-facing apartment. I had a mouse problem on the 5th floor and the exterminator would only come every other Saturday . The super was nice but sometimes brushed issues off. No laundry in building.

Pros
It is affordable, has quick responses from management and super, and looks dirty, but I didn't see any mouse. Transportation: You can go everywhere in NYC very easily. It is spacious for one person.
Cons
Noise, junky, random people you don't want to meet on the street.
