Has potential, but ...

Pros

This apartment building has a lot of potential; with some investment and updates, it could truly be an excellent place to live. I particularly appreciate the thick walls, which provide a good level of sound insulation, allowing for a peaceful environment where I am mostly shielded from my neighbors' noises. The only occasional sounds I do hear are from the plumbing systems.

Cons

The nearby firehouse causes frequent and disruptive noise from emergency vehicles. The unscreened windows in common areas create issues with pests. The hot water supply is unreliable. Maintenance services are subpar, and repairs often involve shortcuts. The presence of cannabis smoke from nearby residents may necessitate frequent window adjustments. The outdated electrical system is inadequate for modern appliances, and air purifiers are recommended.
