Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of buildings managed by John Milevoi reveal a mixed management experience. Some tenants praise quiet, peaceful buildings and convenient locations, appreciating reasonable rents and proximity to transit. However, frequent complaints include poor cleanliness, pest infestations, outdated or malfunctioning elevators, plumbing issues, and inconsistent heat. Noise levels and disruptive neighbors are common concerns. Management responsiveness varies, with some tenants finding owner communication slow or unhelpful. Suggestions include improving pest control, maintenance response, and overall building upkeep. Prospective renters should expect a range of experiences, with maintenance and management quality fluctuating significantly across properties.

Horrible Management and ROACHES
Former Tenant
Pros:
I liked the super; he was very responsive and he and his wife are very kind. Rent was reasonable for the area.
Cons:
The whole year I lived here I dealt with a horrible roach infestation. No matter what I did they’d come back, I’d see them in the halls and stairs and am sure they are a long-term issue. Most neighbors were also extremely inconsiderate when it came to noise and smells (cooking with doors open so the whole building smelled). The management did nothing. I also had to end my lease early in 2020 due to moving out of the city because of COVID and the management company kept my deposit and said I should consider myself “lucky” that they didn’t charge additional fees on top of that.

If you can over look a few things you can live decent
Former Tenant
Pros:
Residence is close to shopping area. Two hospitals. 8 bus routes two train routes. Church around the corner. Elementary schools, middle schools and high school in the area. A community center. Plenty of pharmacies and laundry facilities. The building offers laundry and elevator access.
Cons:
Parking is hard to come by. Noise level at any point in time is out of hand. Traffic on some occasions. The head in the building isn’t controlled by the super so given when it’s given. Hot water could be shit off without warning or notice. Pest exposure. Laundry room only four washers four dries tend to have malfunction issues. Mold. Elevator malfunctions.
