Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants of Amir Cohen's buildings note a mix of positive and negative experiences with management. Responsive and helpful supers often receive praise, contributing to good maintenance of common areas and timely repairs. However, challenges include pest infestations (notably roaches and rats), outdated facilities, heating inconsistencies, and occasional neglect of serious issues like leaks and roof repairs. Communication with management can be slow or unresponsive, especially regarding rent hikes and maintenance concerns. Security is another recurring concern, with calls for improved surveillance and package theft prevention. Overall, renters should expect courteous on-site staff but may encounter infrastructure delays and management shortcomings.

Good College Apt

Pros

Good for what it was, not perfect but we didn’t have any major complaints living there

Cons

Management was a nightmare to deal with moving out

Overall good experience

Pros

My room has amazing lighting, management is always responsive when contacted, right next to the train

Cons

I don’t recommend if you are sensitive to sound. Also the rent kept getting raised a ridiculous amount which is why we got pushed out.
