Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback on buildings managed by Bill Lika reveals a generally desirable location with spacious, well-lit apartments. However, many renters report management challenges including inconsistent responsiveness, inadequate building maintenance, and safety concerns such as unsecured entry doors and broken buzzers. Cleanliness of common areas like stairwells and hallways often needs improvement, and older infrastructures sometimes cause noise and temperature regulation issues. Pest control and garbage management receive mixed reviews. While some tenants appreciate the affordability and neighborhood vibe, others highlight a need for management to enhance safety measures and upkeep to meet residents’ expectations more effectively.

Cool location, but def an old building

Pros

Perfect location, lots of windows, tons of space

Cons

Old appliances, stairwell and entryway need more frequent cleaning, door could be more secure. Typical issues with any other 100+ year old building, but you sign up for that going in

Nothing fancy but great location

Pros

Amazing location to all you need and other neighborhoods

Cons

Very few amenities in the building (no dishwasher, laundry, door buzzer, etc) and generally little maintenance of the property
