Very Mixed Bag
Pros
No pet fees, rent controlled, laundry in basement. Some apartments overlook a beautiful shared garden. It is generally a very quiet building.
Cons
The floor is so old the polish is peeling off, but it cannot be replaced as the original polish is now illegal. They seem to hire cheap contractors as my bathtub enamel had to be redone twice, roughly once a year and when my fridge was leaking for half a year they refused to replace it and took many months to call a contractor. Occasional rats and roaches in garbage and laundry.
Advice to the owners
Please just fix the issues your tenants report in a timely manner.

Cons
There is a rat infestation in the basement. Rats have died in the walls and management just leaves them. At night if you live on the front of the building you will hear people screaming outside because of the rats
