Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews for properties managed by Ramin Shalom indicate a mixed experience among residents. Tenants praise the spacious layouts, strong community feel, and convenient locations. However, several reviews highlight issues with management responsiveness, maintenance delays, and cleanliness, particularly regarding pest control and garbage management. While some areas benefit from attentive staff and well-maintained facilities, others suffer from outdated amenities and inconsistent heating. Overall, while there are many positive aspects, the ongoing management concerns suggest potential renters should weigh these factors before making a decision.

Great Apt and Value

Pros

Large space for the price, each bedroom was nicely sized, great living room, good natural light, elevator, very convenient to subway and midtown, cute and safe neighborhood

Cons

Outdated bathroom and occasional mold in bathroom

Advice to the owners

I lived here with 2 roommates for 4 years. I thought it was a great apartment that was convenient being close to 6 and E lines and midtown. Space in every bedroom was good and the living room was great for hosting. Biggest downside was definitely the recurring mold that would pop up in the shower

Former tenant·Over 1 year ago

Great building to live in. Virtually no major issues or complaints!

Pros

Nice/ respectful neighbors, hallways and entrance cleaned once a month, no pests

Cons

Laundry units in the basement would randomly break, not dry clothes, etc..

Advice to the owners

Being a bit more prompt when it comes to repairs
