Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for Abraham Buxbaum's buildings reflects a mixed management experience. While residents appreciate ample natural light and generally responsive landlord communication, concerns persist about pest control issues, inconsistent cleanliness, and noise levels. Garbage management is often rated positively, but water pressure varies significantly between units. Heating is usually adequate but can be excessive in some cases. Tenants suggest more proactive pest management, improved stairwell cleanliness, and better communication, particularly regarding maintenance requests and deposit returns. Overall, renters valuing location and light may find the buildings appealing, but expect some management challenges and occasional responsiveness delays.

Big windows, not much else

Pros

lots of light, very uninvolved management which has its pros and cons, big windows, responsive landlord

Cons

slanted, poor water pressure, no buzzer for door, hard to get packages

Former tenant·4 months ago

Old but decent

Pros

Great location, near Win Son. Good natural light and windows in every room. heating very strong in the winter -- so much so that we kept windows open

Cons

Bugs in the summer. And mice were an issue during the winter until we got a cat. Landlord only relatively responsive
