Avoid this Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment units inside are relatively nice, we enjoyed our unit. Water pressure is fine.
Cons:
The management of this building is terrible. We had no heat and hot water for many weeks during our 1 year lease. In our lease, we were entitled to pest control once a month and they came once. The landlord is not responsive and I have never spoken to him, only emailed. Mice and pests are very common. Building is filthy.
Advice to owner:
New management just took over...hopefully they are better!

Extremely poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
GREAT location, new appliances in kitchen and bathroom, big windows in living room
Cons:
Horrible, noisy, leaking heating pipes - couldn’t sleep for four months and the super was not at all responsive. Took three weeks for him to fix it and he didn’t fix the noise. Management company unreachable. Pest control inconsistent.
Advice to owner:
Hire a better super and be contactable. Provide pest control.

Great location, Not ideal building
Former Tenant
Pros:
We love this location - right off the 6 train, a 5 minute walk to Central Park, a little bit south to UES and a little bit north to 125th. The neighborhood is friendly and there’s lots of places to eat nearby. The apartment itself has relatively new fixtures, especially the bathroom. It worked fine for our first apartment.
Cons:
Biggest con is that the radiator pipe in my roommate’s room banged so loudly it quite literally woke her up every hour all winter long. My radiator pipe also started acting up in the early spring snd woke me up too - 10x louder than the usual banging you would expect from a radiator. Super does not really help fix anything unless there is literally water pouring out of somewhere - our mailbox was broken for a month and he never fixed it, and I had to fix it myself. We are supposed to have an exterminator every two weeks but one has come once the whole year we lived here. We have tiny roaches but luckily nothing bigger.
