Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback on buildings managed by Joseph Sedgh reveals significant management challenges. Renters frequently report unresponsiveness and delays in addressing urgent maintenance issues such as heating malfunctions, pest infestations, water damage, and building security problems like broken doors. Despite some apartments being spacious and well-located near transit and amenities, residents consistently express frustration over poor upkeep, mold, and unclean conditions. Garbage and pest control measures are often inadequate, contributing to tenant dissatisfaction. The overall management approach appears neglectful, negatively impacting living conditions and tenant trust. Prospective renters should expect unreliable landlord responsiveness and persistent maintenance concerns in these buildings.

Landlord is the worst

Pros

Apartment itself is huge two bath wonderful light.

Cons

Landlord is incredibly unresponsive. There is a washer and dryer, but they've been broken (the dryer for MONTHS) with barely any movement from the landlord to fix. Apartment is falling apart and they will not fix or respond. Mold, heavy water leaks, fire hazard doors, etc.

Advice to the owners

fix your building. respond to your tenants. this is your only job.
