Good Building Overall, Horrible Landlord in 2C
Pros
Generally clean, great super, good neighbors.
Cons
package theft, elevator is always being fixed due to some issues, people let pets poo on 2nd floor roof deck
Advice to the owners
2c landlord is awful. very greedy, charges for things and never has them fixed. lies about what work the apartment has had and will take months to respond or fix anything. The kitchen sink overflows with black water to the point where it leaks all over the living room and kitchen floor. I had to stay up at night out of concern that this would happen while I was asleep. This happened multiple times and the landlord promised to have it fixed, but never did. Tried to charge for paint and spackle job when it was the previous tenants who mounted things and put small holes in wall. I did not put a single nail in the wall. He also tried to charge me for a spare key which I could not duplicate. You would think that having a spare key is common sense. When I finally got locked out, I had to pay a few hundred for a locksmith. Honestly, just a bad experience overall.
