Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant feedback for buildings managed by 332 E 19 STREET HOLDINGS LLC consistently points to significant management shortcomings. Residents struggle with poor communication and unresponsiveness from the landlord, often lacking a superintendent to address issues promptly. Many experience ongoing construction disruptions, inadequate heating, and substandard cleanliness and garbage management. Issues with pest control and maintenance delays are frequent, with some tenants reporting illegal lease terms requiring them to handle repairs. While the location and neighbor relations receive positive mentions, frustrations arise from neglected infrastructure and intrusive, unscheduled maintenance access. Overall, renters advise the management to improve responsiveness, appoint a reliable super, and enhance building upkeep to meet tenant needs.

Beware of predatory landlords

Pros

Location is good

Cons

There is no super It is really hard to communicate with management Dust from the walls falls all the time Apartments were renovated and the bedrooms are less than 80 square feet Workers show up whenever they feel like and let themselves while you are home Stairs are very slippery Appliances that are supossed to be new are always breaking Washing machines shake the entire apartment and all the apartments surrounding you

Could be better but not bad

Pros

Nice, newly updated appliances Rooms have been recently painted and maintained

Cons

Most fixes within apartment are responsibility of tenant (which is illegal regarding appliances installed by property owner). Maintenance comes into unit without warning or advance notice.
