Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews for buildings managed by Alan Manocherian indicate a mixed experience. Many appreciate the responsive management and cleanliness, particularly in units with attentive superintendents. However, there are concerns about heating issues and occasional pest problems, such as cockroaches, which some residents feel remain unaddressed. Noise levels tend to be low, and location is a consistent pro among renters. While most acknowledge good amenities like on-site laundry and elevator access, several suggest a need for improved attention to common areas. Overall, tenants value the management's responsiveness, but some express hesitation about renewing leases due to persistent issues.

It's an Apartment

Pros

- On-site laundry - Location

Cons

- Roach sightings are more often than I'd like - Maybe it's just my apartment, but the heat is virtually non existent - Super changes constantly, I don't think they live in the building anymore - Zero counterspace, although layout/finishes vary across most apartments - Package theft has decreased but still happens
