Great building in heart of Manhattan

Pros

Great location—walkable to amazing restaurants, shops, the Union Square green market, and more. Very responsive when issues come up—super lives in the building and is great. Appliances are updated and work great. Huge kitchen with a ton of storage. Doormen are great (especially Eric).

Cons

Heat is operated by the building and it gets quite hot in the winter. Bedroom in the 1B is quite small—you can really only fit a bed. Windows get quite dirty and the building does not get them cleaned (not easy for you to clean them yourselves).

Small, trash system is bad and there’s so many rats in the area. Did see like a few cockroaches
