Basement flooded all the time, slow responsiveness from management company, FLIES EVERYWHERE, toilets backed up all the time and flooded, we had cold water for WEEKS that never got fixed until we called 311 and forced management company’s hand, washer dryer always broken, shall I go on?

The unit itself is spacious and has a lot of potential, if it were better managed by the building.
Cons
The management has intentionally lied about the status of this building regarding the Good Cause Eviciton law, was formerly a rent stabilized building but the owner never formally deregulated the building through DHCR and has not provided any proof of deregulation, violated our lease rider of repair or pest control within 7 days of notice within the first two weeks of our lease, management is difficult to communicate with and will make inaccurate statements until they are pointed out (in which case, they redirect attempting to cover their tracks). Horrible property management and maintenance, both in our individual unit, as well as the common areas of the building.
