Pros

Cons

Wants 30% rent increase

Pros

I like this neighborhood, and like the apartment. Wish I didn't have to move.

Cons

Landlord is asking way over market price -- a 30% rent increase this year -- to established tenants. They did not lower my rent during covid, they accepted government payroll protection funds, and now they are soaking us for rent. It is criminal.

Advice to the owners

When the legislature passes the eviction protection law, and you can't make a fair return on this property, remember you brought it on yourself.
