Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews for 28 Forsyth Street in Manhattan highlight a mix of experiences. Positives include roof access, efficient garbage management, and keyless entry convenience. However, concerns are raised about noisy heating systems, poor garbage facilities leading to pest issues, and unresponsive management. Some suggest updates to amenities and improved pest control. While some tenants appreciate the building's charm and location, others feel the maintenance issues and lack of responsiveness overshadow these aspects. Overall, renters emphasize the need for better management and building upkeep to enhance the living experience in this area.

Nice building in nice area
Former Tenant
Pros:
Roof access. Garbage room is taken care of. Front door dials your phone so you can leave your keys at home.
Cons:
The heat was really loud. I was in a the top floor apartment and I could hear the steam going off.

Cute Apartments but dont live here
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartments are very cute, have exposed brick all along one side, new appliances and bathrooms, exposed ceiling beams, easy walk to the heart of LES, soho, etc. Despite it being a small 2 bed, there are 1.5 baths!
Cons:
Garbage is very poorly maintained, there is an open shed with dumpsters where they expect tenants to place trash, however there are what seems like dozens of rats which results in everyone Just leaving trash inside building under stairwell. This causes lots of flies and pests. While exposed brick is beautiful, it comes with lots of holes to outside that allow mice to slip through. Despite MANY exterminator attempts, we cannot get rid of the mice and the management does not seem to care. My packages have been stolen very frequently.
