Disorganized but overall harmless
Former Tenant
Pros:
We had the patio apt from 2016-2018. It was so, so lovely. I miss it so much. Average response time for super/management.
Cons:
1. Packages stolen a lot. There were a lot of young nyu kids who would buzz anyone into building 2. We had sooo many noise complaints filed against us during periods where my roommate and I were not even in NYC. Any time there was a noise literally OUTSIDE these dumb spoiled nyu kids/frat bros assumed it was coming from our patio. Management threatened to evict us (without any warning but more importantly without ANY investigation/proof). I had to fighttttt to prove that it wasn't us (showing travel receipts from when we were out of town and the complaints were made against us). I was so, so disappointed in how management handled everything. We were two very very respectful, quiet tenants, and they were SO close to evicting us on complete bull****. It was scary how confident yet wrong they were. It caused us SO much unnecessary stress for two months.
Advice to owner:
Maybe listen to your tenants who have been EV resident for years with excellent track records, instead of some frat bro who would urinate in the lobby every time he was wasted
