The owner Rita is awful; she ignores all your complaints and refuses to help. Small rooms. Only fits twin Dirty untidy apt unit Loud Kitchen is very small and appliances don’t work

The worst I have ever seen

Location, nothing about the building itself

Cons

Has the worst landlord I have ever seen. No heat in the winter, then tortured us by overheating once the heat came on. No windows in the living room so it couldn't be ventilated. Every apartment has mice even if you don't always see them. Have seen roaches too. Landlord will steal as much of the security deposit as she can from you. The person they send for maintenance is not a real handyman and does not know what he's doing at all. Don't expect anything to get fixed if you have an issue.

Advice to the owners

Stop overheating the apartments during the winter, it was unbearable. Please hire a real handyman who knows how to fix things. Please stop trying to steal security deposit money.

A lot of rats that come from the connecting restaurant that would come up and down the stairs and there were roaches in the building by the trash but never saw any in our own apartment

Yes - the there were roaches (dead and alive) in both the building hallways/stairs and the actual unit. There were also mice in the units. This was communicated to the landlord Rita who did not take the issue seriously.

Our apartment has had minor issues with pests. we find a dead roach maybe once a year and we had a mouse or two pop up. Landlord sends the exterminator out pretty quickly if you’re having issues though

We did not have issues with pests or roaches. That being said, I would have rather had a pest or roach problem then deal with half the issues that we had while living in this apartment

No to both. Very bare bones. Id shy away from this place, lived there a year and the landlord is a nightmare. Adds on extra costs and actively provides misleading information.

Hi! Nope there isn’t, just a walk up. Packages get left in the building entrance and sometimes get stolen. The nearest gym is a few blocks away! I wouldn’t recommend living in this building though - way too many issues with management in the units themselves.
