Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenants at 225 East 14th Street praise the location's convenience and quiet ambiance. However, serious issues plague the building: unresponsive management, poor pest control, and inadequate cleanliness. Residents face rodent and roach infestations as garbage piles up unchecked. The consensus leans towards disapproval of the management's lack of care and responsiveness. Tenants strongly advise on enhancing communication with tenants, hiring vigilant staff, and prioritizing maintenance to remedy the deteriorating living conditions. Despite the promising location, the prevalent neglect and unsanitary conditions discourage residents from recommending this building.
No response from management for any requests - from basic fixes to pest control Garbage is often left unattended for weeks, commonly filled with rats and roaches roaming the floor. Building is not attended or cleaned on a regular basis. Renovation work in common areas leaves clouds of dust and dirt that are not cleaned
Advice to owner:
Hire a consistent superintended and prioritize communicating with tenants
