Amazing Experience at Claridges
Former Tenant
Pros:
This is our third year as tenements and our experience has been superb. Our leasing agent, Debora, went above and beyond for us and insured a positive and timely move-in process. She was so kind and friendly and responsive, totally unlike anyone else we had dealt with. She truly made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. I’ve continued to see Deb around the building and she always puts a smile on my face.
Cons:
None. We are very happy.
Advice to owner:
Hire more people like Debora.

Solid building with a great social environment
Former Tenant
Pros:
I lived here for 2 yrs. I enjoyed my experience and wish I could’ve stayed. I had a great introduction to the building by leasing staff Deborah and then my stay in the apt and with the building staff was excellent. The lobby workers all make you feel good to come home. Good sized apts, with very nice interiors. Lots of closets.
Cons:
Rents can get high.
Advice to owner:
Mgmnt doesn’t need to raise the rent so much. instead keep good tenants that pay on time and add to the building in a positive way.

Claridges building review
Former Tenant
Pros:
Friendly doorman, smaller building, location , large living spaces
Cons:
Very old and in need of an update, carpets are old, dog friendly building so the hallways and areas smell like dog/dog urine, no in unit washer and dryer, expensive washer and dryer system in basement, small gym in the building, no additional amenities, rude/unresponsive property manager Mr Devine.
Advice to owner:
Invest in the property

A classic NY apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing, attentive doormen Clean Accessible neighborhood
Cons:
Older neighbors means it's very easy to get noise complaints Building management can be unreasonable with some random rules they make up 6th ave is very noisy

Great pre-war building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The management and doormen were great and very helpful. It's close to all subways and in a convenient spot by the park.
Cons:
Windows were not very soundproof, so the noise from 6th avenue could be heard in the night. Also, older neighbors and neighbors with young children meant higher rates of noise complaints.
Advice to owner:
Sound proof the windows

Overall good bldg, friendly and well maintained.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Bldg Staff (concierge , front desk workers) , neighbors, ease of location, the closet space, noise between apts is very little.
Cons:
Floors are not renovated, the management company is disorganized and hard to get a response from.
Advice to owner:
Pricing does not need to jump so much between years. Keep us residents longer by being reasonable also apts can use a face lift even though the spaces are good.

A Well-Maintained Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Awesome location Beautiful lobby Pet friendly building Friendly building staff
Cons:
The listing agent, Deborah, isn’t trustworthy. She was friendly and responsive until we signed the lease. She also lied about certain things in the apartment. Our leasing experience was very disappointing, however, we still love our apartment and the building.
Advice to owner:
Listing agents should receive better training on customer service.
