Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews highlight mixed feedback about 404 WEST 56 STREET. While some appreciate the affordable prices and proximity to Midtown, others express concerns about poor management, slow responsiveness, pest issues, theft of packages, and outdated facilities. Rent increases without proper maintenance and communication issues with the landlord have led to dissatisfaction among residents. Recommendations include improving maintenance, upgrading security measures, enhancing communication, and addressing rent stabilization concerns. Overall, the building's affordability and location are attractive, but management practices need significant improvement to provide a better living experience for tenants.

Good for the Price

Pros

I enjoyed living in this building and neighborhood, especially given the price when I lived there.

Cons

The management company took 9 months to get my security deposit back. They were extremely hard to get in touch with.
