Great location but at what cost

Pros

Great location! So close to great bars and restaurants on 2nd Ave and a 15 minute walk to Central Park.

Cons

Garbage is not well maintained rats are constantly in the bins. Roaches often found in the halls and occasionally in my apartment.

Needs a new super

Great location on the UES

Cons

The super was rude and creepy — at one point during the pandemic he cornered me in the garbage area (which was consistently a DISASTER), took out the garbage bag I had just thrown away and threatened to come back up to my apartment and put it back there. I complained to management immediately. Additionally, the super was incredibly unresponsive and would only answer if my roommate reached out.
