Where can I start- the building is falling apart since Columbia U built that tall building next to us and the owner /landlord has not done any repairs, maintenance, upkeep since. There are cracks everywhere, huge gaps in the hallways between the floors and the walls that you can see down. Our neighboring building have done maintenance but not ours-what are they waiting for? It is dangerous. We went months without gas, the laundry room and elevator. The elevator breaks down a lot. The supers they hire are inadequate for the job. They don’t know how to properly fix things-they made my apartment worse.
Advice to the owners
Listen to your tenants, do repairs before the building falls and you get sued. Fox the ceilings, cracks, huge gaps in the hallways in the floor! Stop raising peoples rents without fixing anything
