Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 4530 Broadway highlight its excellent location near public transportation and spacious, large apartments appealing to tenants. Residents appreciate the responsive and helpful superintendents, soundproofing between units, and access to amenities like elevators, storage, and nearby parks and stores. However, there are significant concerns regarding pest infestations, particularly recurring bed bugs, with management and owners often slow or unresponsive in addressing these issues. Cleanliness and garbage management ratings vary, with some noting persistent maintenance and infrastructure problems. Despite rent stabilization and attractive unit sizes, potential renters should weigh the ongoing pest and management challenges before committing.

Great except pests
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great/responsive super, nice neighbors, large apartments, close to transportation, lovely park across the street, nearby multiple grocery stores and the BEST bodega.
Cons:
We had 3 bed bug infestations over 4 years, all coming through our bathroom so there was obviously an untreated infestation in a nearby apartment. Our last infestation was at the beginning of the pandemic and we could not get in touch with management for over a week.
