Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenant feedback for 326 East 78 Street reveals a quiet, safe building with friendly neighbors and a convenient Manhattan location near transit and amenities. Apartments often feature ample sunlight and efficient layouts. However, persistent issues include slow management response to repairs, problematic heating systems, and ongoing pest challenges like mice, rats, and roaches. Garbage disposal and package theft have also been noted concerns, along with some health and safety violations and building code issues. While common areas and water pressure are generally well-maintained, renters suggest improvements in building responsiveness, pest control, and security measures to enhance living conditions.

Good quiet location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet, neighbors are super nice, feels safe, clean
Cons:
I didn’t have heat in my room and complained and was never fixed, along with a few other broken items in our home. So much trash outside the place for garbage pick up and it gets filled with rats

Pros:
Pest control was regular, superintendent didn't neglect repairs or garbage management, layout of my apartment was efficient and offered lots of sunlight
Cons:
Cockroaches did reach me on the top floor, there was one neighbour who chronically stole packages from the lobby for months on end

Offer rooftop access
