Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 408 East 92 Street highlight a well-constructed, fairly clean building in a convenient location near transportation and parks. Residents appreciate friendly staff, secure package handling, and generally good water pressure and heating. However, frequent elevator breakdowns, noisy street surroundings, and inconsistent management responsiveness are common concerns. Maintenance delays, especially since management changed, and lack of transparency about rent/service fees also detract from the living experience. Amenities like the rooftop and BBQ grill are underutilized or in poor condition. Despite drawbacks, some tenants still recommend the building for its location and overall atmosphere.

looks good, but the honeymoon is over quickly
Former Tenant
Pros:
clean, but cheaply done
Cons:
elevators are a constant problem, even though they were replaced in the last two years
Advice to owner:
allow for escalation of issues, you cannot go any higher than the building manager and she is not very responsive. transparent accounting process would be appreciated. Rent is increased every year and they add "service" fees on top of rent increases but no one knows what the service fees are for. recent updates are cheap, appliances are old and need frequent repairs and the laminate flooring is laid on top of unsealed parquet that warps when wet.
