Great building with the worst management company imaginable

Pros

Nice building with friendly staff, great amenities, and fast responses to maintenance requests.

Cons

Terrible management company. I can't say more while I still live here, but if you want to pick somewhere where you're going to feel financially secure in the rent from year to year, this is the WRONG building. Since I've lived here, the landlord has used every loophole and unethical trick in the book to raise the rent far beyond what the spirit of the law should have allowed. In the past few years, they've also started charging amenity fees, water fees, and parts fees for routine maintenance requests (lightbulbs, filters, etc). They will be more than happy to get you to sign the lease, but after that you will be feeling pressured to move out at every renewal.
