Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews for 385 Union Avenue in Brooklyn highlight mixed experiences. Positive aspects include cleanliness, responsive garbage management, and good water pressure. However, issues with heating, noisy neighbors, and unresponsive management stand out. Tenants appreciate the no-pest situation but express frustration with management's lack of action on crucial matters like heating failures and noise disturbances. Recommendations focus on prompt fixes, better responsiveness, and addressing neighbor and security issues to enhance the overall living experience. Some renters caution against the management's lack of tenant care and suggest improvements for a more comfortable living environment.

385 Union Apt
Former Tenant
Pros:
Newer building, nice appliances, no pests, W/D in-unit
Cons:
Management company is extremely unpleasant. Boots on the ground are great, but admins are generally arrogant and unwilling to make concessions. Half the building went without heat or AC for better half of year, packages kept getting stolen, and management was all talk no action. Individual units had to group together to demand concessions and even then were immaterial. Given the current market, I wouldn’t rent here.
Advice to owner:
Make fixes on time and be more generous with concessions or people will keep moving out

Overall good place
Former Tenant
Pros:
clean with a responsive management company. Our heat was broken for a few months but they didn’t require us to pay rent for that entire period and were generally responsive to other issues
Cons:
The neighbors to the west play music pretty often and the acoustics are such that it’s pretty loud in all apartments facing west
Advice to owner:
