Super and mgmt allow and seem to encourage harassment of the tenants who pay less rent. Maintenance is non-existent; fire-safe doors do not latch, knobs are falling off, broken tiles and holes in the walls. Super doesn’t clean; years of built up dirt and trash. Garbage area and backyard are covered in filth, pests, and feces; compost bins are kept indoors and unlatched making the laundry room smell like a sewer and spreading roaches everywhere. Just look at the reviews and HPD stats of this building and Jonas as a whole before you think about moving here. They push native residents/businesses out of Brooklyn and rack up plenty of lawsuits and violations in the meantime. It’s been covered in the news it’s so bad. The neighboring buildings and owners have nowhere near as many complaints as 222/Jonas. STAY FAR AWAY.

Viciously harassed by a retired elder neighbor for an entire year with no assistance from Jonas Equitiy Management. Expect to be hyper surveillanced by the super of this building. Pests on premises -MICE, WATER BUGS, ROACHES, FERAL CATS
Advice to the owners
Pay back security deposit! It's against the law to withhold!
