how bad was the smell and noise from the pita factory?

It did smell like bread occasionally, but not in a bad way. Noise wasn’t bad either! However, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE unless you don’t want to get your security deposit back when you eventually move out.

Smell isn’t bad if you have your window closed, it’s mainly at night. If you’re facing the pita factory it can be loud at night because that’s when they do deliveries. If you’re worried about noise the bigger issue is that there has been construction on the block for over a year now (con ed work)

loved the location, cant be beat, big units

Cons

some units dont have washer in unit, but theres shared washer where half of them are broken. management recently changed so cant speak to the new guys, but the previous owners were awful.
