‘Luxury’ that’s not quite luxurious
Pros
Staff that are in building are wonderful. Amenity spaces are nice but perhaps not large enough for the size of the building. Some units have very few issues and we were lucky to get one of those
Cons
Switching entire building between heat and ac so units cannot control their own temp is ridiculous in a building this large where higher floors/south or southwest facing units are getting blasted by sun
Advice to the owners
Respond to tenants quickly and stop relying on gimmicky new tech solutions for issues
New building. Potential, but room for improvement.
Pros
Amenities are great. Neighbors and receptionists are friendly and helpful.
Cons
The entire HVAC system can only be set to heating or cooling for the entire building. Some days in the winter it gets incredibly hot inside the building and there is no way to change this with the thermostat. Strange for such a new building. I’d advise buying a fan for the winter. There’s also only 2 elevators, which can be inconvenient considering the amount of tenants. When one elevator is broken or reserved, it can take 10+ minutes for the other one to arrive.
Advice to the owners
Fix the AC.
