Pet friendly, peaceful mixed residential neighborhood
Pros
The neighborhood is lovely and close to many forms of transportation. Quite a number of rent stabilized units, pleasant staff.Pet friendly, kept pretty clean. Garbadge pickups and sorting are done timely. Friendly porters.
Cons
You must write management a letter with any repair requests even small things. Repairs are sloppy, some 1/2 done. The current super is a very low class person. We had a great professional super and he was illegally fired. In the past 3 years nearly all the trees on the property were cut down. No trees have been replaced. Do some landscaping to make the place as pretty as when we moved in many years ago.
Advice to the owners
Plant new trees or do some landscaping. When tenants can be proud to live in a well kept building they pay on time and take better care of their rented spaces. Replace the super someone less lazy and more professiona. Manny befriends the addicts and non payers while being nasty to the higher class renters who would never miss payments and keep their apartments in respectable shape. You get back what you give out.

Everything. Management sucks, thin walls, noisy as hell, no heat during winter, no hot water, mice, roaches, centipedes, asbestos...
