Home away from home in Elmhurst
Pros
I honestly love living here. The front desk staff are so kind and know us by name. They check IDs for visitors and the place is always spotless. I swear they remove the trash from each floor multiple times a day, and I always see someone cleaning. Each room has their own wall AC unit, and we rarely hear our neighbors. There’s also laundry in the building.
Cons
It’s right on Queens Blvd at an intersection, so there’s lots of sirens at all times of day.
Advice to the owners
Would love to see more regular maintenance of the washing machines and dryers, as a few have been broken pretty regularly.

Pros
Close to M/R/E trains A lot of great restaurants, and groceries nearby.
Cons
The cooler can't really get the temperature down in the summer, it's not working. I don't know why but they are not using the chute in the trash room, so we have to leave trash in there, but they collect trash a couple of times a day. The boiler room on the rooftop makes an extremely loud noise and affects more than half of the units on the 7th floor. The noise happens roughly from September to May, every 1.5 hours with an extremely loud sound during the day and night. It's not fixable so don't move here.
